Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of PulseWatch, a cron job and uptime monitoring service. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The service

PulseWatch lets you monitor scheduled jobs (via heartbeat pings your systems send us) and URLs (via HTTP checks we run), and notifies you through the alert channels you configure. Paid plans add capacity and features as described on the pricing page.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account: keep your sign-in method secure, keep your alert channels accurate, and don't share access with people you don't trust. You must provide a working email address.

Acceptable use

• Only monitor systems and URLs you own or have permission to monitor.
• Don't send abusive ping volumes or use the service to load-test, scan, or attack anything.
• No illegal, deceptive, or infringing content in monitor names, slugs, or public status pages.
• Don't attempt to break, probe, or overload PulseWatch itself, or to bypass plan limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where practical we will warn you first; for abuse that affects other customers or third parties we may act immediately.

Plans, billing and refunds

Free and paid subscription plans are described on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; your billing relationship for payment processing is with them. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep paid features until then. Apart from billing errors and where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable; if you believe you were billed in error, contact us within 14 days and we will sort it out.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

Fair use

Plan limits (monitor counts, check intervals) are enforced technically. We may apply reasonable additional limits — for example on ping rates or alert volume — to keep the service healthy for everyone. We will not use fair-use limits to hollow out what you paid for.

No SLA — and a monitoring-service honesty clause

PulseWatch is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular availability of the monitoring service itself, and we do not guarantee that every incident will be detected or that every alert will be delivered or delivered on time — alert delivery depends on third parties (email providers, Telegram, your webhook endpoints) and on the nature of monitoring itself. Do not use PulseWatch as your only safeguard for safety-critical, life-critical, or damage-prone systems.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data — including losses caused by missed, delayed, or false alerts. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or $0 on the free plan). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Your content

You keep all rights to the data you put into PulseWatch. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process it to operate the service, and to display what you explicitly publish on your public status page.

Termination

You can stop using PulseWatch and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account), which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend the service or your account for material breach of these terms, with notice where practical.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give you notice (email or in-app) at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
